INTRO & GOAL
Build brand positioning of TRIMSPA as a beauty product — something typically (and publicly) used as lip gloss. Support awareness, drive interest, and generate retail sales.
STRATEGY & PROCESS
Lean into Anna Nicole Smith’s popularity as TRIMSPA’s new celebrity spokesperson. Ensure print creative is aligned with concurrent television spots airing nationwide. Consistently deliver seamless branded advertising content across online and offline touchpoints.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
Full-page print ad in popular national magazine titles like Cosmopolitan and Glamour. Creative incorporated imagery from TRIMSPA’s first formal photo shoot featuring spokesmodel Anna Nicole Smith. The sheer curtains and transparent layers suggest a dreamlike state. Anna Nicole’s expressions and body language — supported by suggestive copy in the ad — are designed to form associations between TRIMSPA and empowered female sexuality and feelings of personal desirability. Region-specific retail chain coupons were incorporated into the layout to drive local in-store sales and contributed to peak revenue years.
