Direct Mail Postcard with Retail Coupon
TRIMSPA sought to maintain direct mail revenue as TRIMSPA® continued to gain market share in the retail sector. The campaign leaned into Anna Nicole Smith’s popularity as TRIMSPA’s new celebrity spokesperson.
APPROACH & OUTCOME
A large-format direct mail postcard was created following the debut of Anna Nicole Smith as TRIMSPA’s celebrity spokesperson. The creative was interwoven with imagery from TRIMSPA’s second photo shoot featuring the new spokesmodel. Taking a cue from the popular Bed Bath & Beyond mailers of the time, TRIMSPA adjusted the size of its direct mail to effectively stand out from daily mailbox clutter.
All print creative was aligned with concurrent television spots airing nationwide. Seamless branded advertising content was consistently delivered across online and offline touchpoints.
This work contributed to peak revenue performance achieved from 2002-2004, when annual sales revenue increased 168% to $43 million.
