Project

Rowan University’s Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research & Planning (IERP) surveyed all recent graduates from Rowan’s undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The responses gathered through these surveys provided detailed information which, in turn, uncovered insights specific to the experience of new job-seekers, their sense of preparedness, and the value they believed they received from a Rowan education. Insights gathered informed future academic programs, degree pathways, student support services, and more. As part of the IERP staff, the annual executive summary publications featuring highlights from the survey data were crafted.

Tableau-generated charts and graphs visualizing the most recent survey data were translated, the results were compared alongside the past 5–10 years of data to identify trends, and the remaining data was translated into key points accompanied by a brief, easily digestible narrative. The finalized PDF was distributed internally to the university community via email and posted online on the Rowan University Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Research & Planning website.
