INTRO & GOAL
Support awareness, drive interest, and generate retail sales. Maintain brand positioning of TRIMSPA as a beauty product — something as typically (and publicly) used as lip gloss. Introduce TRIMSPA’s “sexy powerful attitude” tagline.
STRATEGY & PROCESS
Lean into Anna Nicole Smith’s popularity as TRIMSPA’s celebrity spokesperson. Ensure print creative is aligned with concurrent television spots airing nationwide. Consistently deliver seamless branded advertising content across online and offline touchpoints.
SOLUTION & OUTCOME
Full-page print ad in popular national magazine titles like Cosmopolitan and Glamour for the 2004 holiday season. Creative incorporated imagery from TRIMSPA’s second formal photo shoot featuring spokesmodel Anna Nicole Smith. The circular shape of the retro chair in which Anna Nicole Smith is posed is reminiscent of stereotypical winter icons, like snow globes and holiday ornaments. Region-specific retail chain coupons were incorporated into the layout to drive local in-store sales and contributed to peak revenue years.
